Use Data Science to Solve Big Social Problems

Bayes Impact is a Y Combinator-backed nonprofit that brings data science solutions to big social problems. We run a 12-month full-time fellowship for leading data scientists and work with civic and nonprofit organizations such as the Gates Foundation and the White House.

Co-hosted by Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures and Joe Lonsdale’s Formation 8, we’re inviting 150+ leading data scientists, engineers, and designers to join us for a 24-hour hackathon to create data-driven solutions for social problems being tackled by some of the most impactful organizations in the world. The winning hack will become a Bayes Impact project, staffed with full-time data scientists and engineers who will work with our partners to bring the hack to life.
